¿Qué es Windows 10/11 LTSC? La edición sin bloat explicada

La edición enterprise sin apps de la Store, sin actualizaciones de características y con 10 años de soporte — para quién es y cómo licenciarla.

LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel) is the stripped-down Windows edition built for machines that must stay stable for years — medical devices, kiosks, industrial PCs, digital signage. It gets security updates but NO feature updates, and ships without the Microsoft Store, Cortana, and most bundled apps.

Who should buy LTSC

  • •Machines that must never change behavior — medical, POS, factory floor
  • •Low-spec PCs that benefit from the lighter footprint
  • •Environments where feature updates break certified software

The honest caveats

  • •Volume-licensed — MAK or KMS, no retail channel exists
  • •No Microsoft Store by default (can be added back manually)
  • •Stuck on its release build — no Copilot/new features later
  • •Not legally available for general personal use — intended for specialized devices

Activation

LTSC keys are volume keys — activate online with slmgr /ato, or by phone (slui 4) on isolated machines. Check remaining MAK activations with our PID Checker before deploying.
