LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel) is the stripped-down Windows edition built for machines that must stay stable for years — medical devices, kiosks, industrial PCs, digital signage. It gets security updates but NO feature updates, and ships without the Microsoft Store, Cortana, and most bundled apps.

Who should buy LTSC
- •Machines that must never change behavior — medical, POS, factory floor

The honest caveats
- •Volume-licensed — MAK or KMS, no retail channel exists
- •No Microsoft Store by default (can be added back manually)
- •Stuck on its release build — no Copilot/new features later
- •Not legally available for general personal use — intended for specialized devices
Activation
LTSC keys are volume keys — activate online with slmgr /ato, or by phone (slui 4) on isolated machines. Check remaining MAK activations with our PID Checker before deploying.
